When out of the office – or if you are currently on the phone – messages can be left and subsequently checked at any time by authorized internal and external subscribers. Depending on the selected setting, conversations are recorded, calls forwarded or messages passed to the calling person.
Automatically customer friendly
The voicemail system can be used – as your automatic agent – to record various announcements and to play these back time-controlled dependent on the current hours of business, such as breaks or holidays.
The caller can if required request to be connected by simply pressing a key. The calling person makes a selection and their call is then forwarded accordingly. Employees are thus relieved of routine tasks and of giving standard information.
The voicemail box also offers the possibility to carry out individual settings. Thus, for example, it can be set such that outside of working hours callers can leave a message, while during a vacation closedown they only hear an announcement.

The Aastra voicemail system can be operated very simply from the telephone terminal. It is simple to configure, the application possibilities are flexible and can be adapted to meet the requirements of every user.
Notification
Furthermore, you can decide individually how you want to be notified about a new message:
- As a notification on the display of the system terminal
- As a message on the DECT telephone
- By a text message (SMS) to the mobile telephone
- Or by e-mail, whereby the message is attached as a data file
