The Suicom BusinessCTI client can be used directly with Microsoft Outlook. Likewise, it can also be used independently from Microsoft, for example with Lotus Notes. Independent from the chosen application, Suicom BusinessCTI is distinguished by its comfortable dialling aid as well as the excellent contact, journal and task management.
With Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) calls can be made, taken and ended with a mouse click by selecting a name from a PC application, e.g. a CRM or ERP system or Microsoft Office programs like Excel, Word or Outlook. CTI programs display a caller's name and additional data from any of the company databases and allow managing a user's accessibility (activating call forwarding to an alternative colleague, voicemail or to a mobile phone).
Unified Communications (UC) goes one important step further showing all relevant information concerning the availability of employees (presence management) and offering other media such as chat, e-mail or SMS to reach your required contact partner.
