Deployment Options
Clearspan can be deployed in a variety of ways, from single site to geographically dispersed multi-site, to best meet the needs of the enterprise. In fact, the Clearspan advantage truly shines in seemingly complex environments where large numbers of sites, with varying sizes and communication models, are physically separated.
Traditional IP PBX deployments for the environment described above often have geographic limitations requiring regional clusters of equipment within a particular distance from the devices they control. Retail organizations and large global enterprises with multiple campuses often pay the price for these limitations. Clearspan has no geographic limitations or limitations on the number of sites or the number of subscribers in each site making it extremely efficient and cost effective.
Clearspan’s efficient design also supports geographic redundancy providing an enterprise with carrier grade five 9’s reliability. Rather than placing all network elements in one data center, Clearspan allows the redundant elements to be placed in a separate enterprise data center. Despite the fact that these network elements are installed across two physically separate sites, they are still managed as one logical system – configuration and provisioning changes are automatically replicated between data centers.
Whether an enterprise has 16 sites or 1600 sites, a pair of redundant servers in different locations is all it takes.
