For the AMC 4 the AMC Controller (AMCC), is needed. The AMCC is connected to the communications system via SIP. The use of a 3G data channel between AMC 4 and AMCC enhances the solution: AMC 4 is able to provide services like dual mode (GSM / WLAN), directory search, faster call setup, VoIP security and trueCLIP.
Furthermore the AMCC prevents the communications system from being exposed to the internet.
